A fan of the Mass Effect Trilogy shows off a beautiful cross stitch they did of Tali’Zorah that took nearly 200 hours to complete.
the original Mass Effect trilogy is dear to a large number of players. The story of Commander Shepard and his crew as they attempt to save the galaxy from the dreaded Reapers has taken its place in video game history and will go down as one of the greatest series of all time. Mass Effect is known for its diverse cast that spanned a number of species from the worlds of the series, all with their own personalities and agendas.
One of the most popular characters from the original trilogy was Tali-Zorah, or Tali. Mass Effect Tali was part of the quarian race and was known for the mask she had to wear due to her race’s weak immune system. An artist decided to take his love for the character and spend some time creating a beautiful piece of art in his honor.
A Redditor known as Togira21 posted an image of some cross stitch work they did based on Tali. According to the user, the piece took them 177 hours over six months. For the pattern, the artists said they used a mobile app that creates a pattern from an image, which then gives the exact colors to use. Togira21 mentioned that they found the work relaxing and also cross-stitched Mass Effect Garus.
A number of Reddit users have shown their love for Togira21’s work, with some calling it amazing. One commenter said he would buy the sewing work if it was placed on a pillow, although the artist said he only knew how to sew on specialty fabrics. When asked if working on the piece hurt their fingers, Togira21 answered in the negative, although they mentioned that it sometimes hurt their wrists. The work is stunningly beautiful and shows incredible dedication to the Mass Effect series.
Togira21 is not alone in creating amazing art based on Mass Effect. An artist by the name of leafjuly drew a number of Mass Effect characters in the hollow knight style. They made 22 characters from the RPG series in the side-scroller vein, including Shepard, Tali, Garrus, Ashley, and Liara. Leafjuly did a great job capturing the aspects that made the Mass Effect unique alum while turning them into insects. The artist said he struggled with a few, but was happy with how the pieces came out.
