Nike Air Force 1 Low “Cross Stitch Grey” DJ9945-100

As the Swoosh continues to build the 40th anniversary of the Nike Air Force 1 Low, the company has outfitted Bruce Kilgore’s iconic design in a mix of high profile collaborations and solo endeavors. For the model’s latest ensemble, this latter category grows by one, as a simple color palette and non-standard cross-stitch panels land on the sneaker.

Significantly different from Drake’s next Air Force 1, the latest iteration of Kilgore’s 1982 creation features shades of gray on the upper unit and sole, with the darker proposition coming via the latter. Profile swooshes and upper heel panels step out from their dull surroundings in a cream hue that also livens up the tongue label and midfoot panel. What’s eye-catching about the Air Force 1’s midfoot construction, however, is that it replaces smooth leather with a woven construction that’s likely meant to provide added breathability for the summer. The “NIKE” text on the heel and the swoosh logos on the insole also feature non-standard arrangements, which could speak of a larger Nike Sportswear collection.

Enjoy official images of the latest Air Force 1 Low and expect a launch on before the summer ends.
